2008 Study Melbourne ScholarshipsLa Trobe University is offering a range of undergraduate scholarships to high achieving students from China, North America, Europe and the United Kingdom. The Study Melbourne Scholarships are being offered in cooperation with the Victorian Department of Innovation, Industry and Regional Development. They are available for international students commencing study in 2008. Study Melbourne Scholarship recipients will be required to participate in the promotion of Melbourne/Victoria as a study destination for international students. The following information outlines specific details of the scholarship program, course requirements, and country eligibility. CHINAThe Faculty of Science, Technology and Engineering offers a select number of scholarships to outstanding international students from China who aim to undertake any Bachelor's degree program within the Faculty. EligibilityThe scholarships are available to outstanding students from North America and Europe who have interest in promoting Melbourne as a study destination, and have achieved high marks from previous studies appropriate for entry into an undergraduate program AND the required level of English language proficiency: www.latrobe.edu.au/international/apply Applications CloseFor semester 2 2008 scholarships for China, prospective students must submit their application for admission to La Trobe University by 31 March 2008 for commencement in July 2008. For Semester 2 2008 scholarships for students from North America and Europe, prospective students must submit their application for an admission to La Trobe University by 30 June 2008 for a July commencement. How to ApplyStudents must attach all documents required for application, their University Entrance Exam score where applicable, their statement of results (academic transcripts) and a written Statement of Purpose (in English).
