Welcome Festival Orientation
La Trobe University’s official Orientation and Welcome to it’s newly arrived international students. A week full of information, interaction and fun so make sure you attend!
Student Volunteer Host Program
Every semester we invite current international students to become hosts for new international students.
La Trobe Award and volunteering
The La Trobe Award program by Student Enrichment offers international students the opportunity to gain recognition for their volunteerism and in return access free, high quality training.
Weekend Break Program
Students from any campus can spend a weekend with host families recruited from another La Trobe campus, providing an opportunity to experience a new environment and cultural exchange.
Weekend and Day Trips
Want to meet more people? La Trobe International can link you to a series of fun and inexpensive social activities run during the first month of each semester.
Language and Cultural Exchange (LACE)
This program enriches the knowledge and lives of participants, as international students are matched with those from Australia and other countries to share each other’s cultures, customs, food, music and more.
