Scholarships

There are a wide range of scholarships open to International Students at La Trobe University.

2009 La Trobe India Scholarship
Students applying for this scholarship must have excellent academic records and/or work experience. A minimum of 70% in a Bachelors degree would be required for students applying for a postgraduate course and 70% in Year 12 for students applying for an undergraduate course. Please note: Students applying for courses in IT/Engineering and Computer Science and/or attending La Trobe interview programs at events or agent offices will be given priority.

2009 Master of Business Administration Scholarship for Indian Students
The purpose of this scholarship is to attract high quality students with work experience to our MBA program for January/April 2009. Student applying for this scholarship must have 70% in their Bachelors degree; 2 years work experience and 7.0 IELTS.

Academic Excellence scholarships will provide full and half scholarships to a number of students, based on academic merit. These scholarships are available to all commencing undergraduate and postgraduate coursework international students. Note that research students may apply for research scholarships. Current students are not eligible for these scholarships.

La Trobe Civil Engineering Scholarship - Bendigo Campus
The purpose of this scholarship is to attract students to study a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering) at La Trobe’s regional campus in Bendigo and to also offer the opportunity to students to work in a region which currently faces a skill shortage for civil engineers.
Students applying for this scholarship are required to have 70% in Year 12 and IELTS score of 6.0.

La Trobe University India Alumni Chapter
La Trobe University will be setting up chapters across India in the years to come to enable our returning graduates with an instant network of alumni to ensure a smooth transition to home country, build business contacts and perhaps secure employment as well. We shall be having regular meet ups and annual dinners, details of which shall soon be available online.
