Financial Aid loans

 

United States students only

La Trobe University participates in the Federal Family Education Loan (FFEL) Program, and administers Stafford and PLUS loans for USA citizens or eligible non-citizens who meet certain criteria, including, but not limited to:

  • Being enrolled at least half-time in a degree program;
  • Making satisfactory academic progress;
  • And not in default from a previous loan.
It is important that you make financial plans for your University studies early on. So if you are planning to apply for US Financial Aid, get a head start by contacting the La Trobe International Office early. We look forward to assisting you!
