Faculty led Short Term Programs

La Trobe University offers a wide range of faculty based short term credit bearing programs. To make application for this funding, students must complete the Short Term Program Application (PDF 70kb). All applications must include the written approval from the appropriate faculty.

Students should be aware that these grants are intented to supplement the costs of the international activity, and in some cases, funding may not be granted prior to the departure of the proposed activity.

Clinical Placements Abroad

Funding is available for La Trobe University full degree seeking students undertaking a practicum or clinical placement overseas. To make application for this funding, students must complete the Clinical Placement Application (PDF 50kb). All applications must be accompanied by written permission from the student’s faculty including evidence that the placement will earn credit towards the student’s La Trobe University degree.

Please note that Mobility Grant Funding will take
5-10 working days from the date of La Trobe International approval to appear in the nominated student account. Students should be aware that these grants are intended to supplement the costs of the international activity, and in some cases, funding may not be granted prior to the departure of the proposed activity.
