Pre-orientation trip & activities

We hold a pre-orientation trip the weekend before orientation. It’s the perfect way to commence your studies with us and it gives you the opportunity to meet other students on the Study Abroad and Exchange program. You can have a look at the details of the trip and booking information here. We will send you further information on the camp once you are accepted. Check out our pre-orientation video below.

Compulsory Welcome & Information Session

All exchange and study abroad students are required to attend the Welcome & Information Session. Details of this session will be provided closer to the date of your arrival or as part of your offer and acceptance pack.

Subject Issues

If you are experiencing any issues with your subjects, such as the subject no longer running or clashes with another subject or simply you just no longer want to do this subject, then you will need to follow the instructions below:

Before enrolment

  1. Double check on your offer letter that you have been approved for alternative subjects. If you have the approval, then attend the relevant enrolment session with a copy of your official transcript and offer letter to change subjects
  2. If you do not have an approval for your alternative subject, please first check whether it has pre-requisites. If it has no pre-requisites, you can go the relevant enrolment session with your official transcript and offer letter and they may approve you on the spot.
  3. If you do not have approval for the subject and it does have pre-requisites, then you will be required to email the relevant course/subject coordinator for approval (be sure to include your official transcript in your email) and enrol into your other subjects in the meantime until you hear back. Once you hear back, you can then submit a Variation of Enrolment form (see instructions below in “After enrolment”).

After enrolment

If you need to make changes after the enrolment period, you were waiting for the coordinator to confirm their approval for a new subject or if you need to re-enrol into the second semester of your program, you will be required to complete a Variation of Enrolment form. You can access this form from the bottom of the “Enrolment” tab of your StudentOnline. Please refer to our Variation of Enrolment Guide [PDF MB]  to help you through the process.
