Student Exchange

Student mobility is a strategic priority of La Trobe University. The vision of the program is to provide opportunities for La Trobe University students to internationalise themselves by participating in academic programs overseas.

La Trobe University maintains active partnerships with over 80 institutions in more than 30 countries and provides a supportive framework to the La Trobe University students, faculty and staff. The University is committed to broadening internationalisation and encourages the student international experience, development of internationalised teaching curriculum and research, and the diversification of the student community through the interaction with study abroad and exchange students from around the globe.

Coming to La Trobe on Exchange

An international university, La Trobe has an extensive range of exchanges with over 80 universities in Asia, Europe and North and South America. This program includes activities such as staff and student exchanges, and joint research projects. These universities are our International Exchange Partners.

If you are currently studying at one of our exchange partner institutions, you may be eligible to apply as an exchange student with a tuition waiver.

If you are a current La Trobe Student, you could consider going on exchange to one of our exchange partner institutions.
