Offshore Programs
La Trobe University offers Diplomas, Bachelor, Masters and PhD courses taught offshore through our Associate Institutions in China, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam and Bhutan.
Some of these programs enable students to transfer to La Trobe University in Australia with advance standing; to study and complete the remainder of their course, or use their offshore qualifications for entry into further studies in Australia.

China Health Program - The La Trobe China Health Program (CHP) works in association with Chinese universities and other organisations in China to build academic capacity in health management education, health services research and health policy research and teaching.
CHP contributes to the training of health service managers through the Graduate Certificate, Postgraduate Diploma in Health Services Management and the Master of Health Administration.

Masterskill University College of Health Sciences

Masterskill University College of Health Sciences (MUCH) is offering La Trobe University degrees in Pharmacy, Physiotherapy and Nursing. These are the first foreign degrees in Physiotherapy and Pharmacy approved by the Ministry of Higher Education to be conducted by a private institution in Malaysia. The programs will be conducted entirely by Masterskill University College. This provides a unique opportunity for students to gain an international qualification whilst studying in Malaysia.
Completion of the Pharmacy, Physiotherapy or Nursing programs at Masterskill does not allow for direct qualification to practice in Australia.

Pharmacy graduates wishing to register to practise as a pharmacist in Australia should contact the Australian Pharmacy Council http://www.apec.asn.au/

Students completing a 3 year Diploma in any of these disciplines at MUCH will be eligible for Advanced Standing in the respective La Trobe University degree program.
The Bachelor of Nursing (Post-registration) will enable experienced Registered Nurses with a Diploma qualification to upgrade their qualification to a degree with one year of full-time study (or the equivalent in part-time study).

La Trobe University in conjunction with Singapore General Hospital - Post Graduate Allied Health Institute (PGAHI), a high profile training and research hospital in Singapore, delivers an Advanced Standing Bachelor of Occupational Therapy This part time program, supported by online teaching and block teaching from LaTrobe University academics, is specifically designed for graduates with a Diploma qualification in Occupational Therapy from any WFOT accredited training institution. The flexibility of this course also enables other qualified Occupational Therapists in Singapore to enrol in individual subjects for professional development.

La Trobe University conducts the Master of Applied Linguistics (TESOL) course, and the Doctor of Education at the Vietnam National University through its two campuses located in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Students in either program, after completing part of their studies at VNU, may apply to La Trobe University to complete the remaining part of their studies in Australia.
Master's degree students who complete their program in Vietnam are invited to apply for the Doctoral program in Australia. Students who wish to take a doctoral program are reminded academic entrance requirements include previous completion of a minor or major thesis at Masters level.
