This page provides information on La Trobe’s eligibility procedures for students that are recruited by your agency and may be eligible for Streamlined Visa Processing (SVP).

To allow time for you to implement these procedures across all your staff members and branches, these procedures become mandatory from 1 August 2012, after which no new applications from your agency will be processed without the required documents being submitted with the student’s application.

Detailed information, as well as FAQs and forms can be downloaded from this page. We would strongly recommend that these procedures are read in detail by you and all staff members at your agency to ensure smooth processing of your applications.

I would draw your attention to the following:

  • The Student Eligibility Checklist (476KB) needs to be filled and submitted at the time of application and must accompany all student applications from your agency. Incorrect or incomplete checklists will not be processed and may lead to delay in processing your applications.
  • The Financial Declaration Form (PDF 475KB) is required only at the time of acceptance for Assessment Levels 3 and 4 (Visa Subclass 573 and 574) countries only. This form is not currently required for Assessment Level 1 and 2 countries, however, we may request this form from any student that we require to see evidence of funds.
  • Please use only the online version of these forms from this page as they will be updated frequently. Out-of-date forms or older versions will not be accepted.
  • We request your cooperation in the implementation of these procedures to ensure the recruitment of genuine students to La Trobe University.
