Bendigo Student Residential Accommodation

The project has delivered a total of 200 student beds, of which 60 beds have been allocated to La Trobe Rural Health School students. The new residential accommodation building has replaced the Osborne Street building residential facilities. The new 200 student bed facility has been built at the Bendigo Flora Hill Campus.

Regional Student Residential Accommodation

The projects have delivered a total of 86 student beds located in Melton, Mildura, Echuca, Shepparton and Wodonga.

Funding source and budget details

The Bendigo and Regional Student Residential Accommodation projects have a budget of $31.8 million.

Timeline/key milestones

Bendigo campus

The new 200 student bed facility known as Hillside Apartments was completed and opened in February 2012, in readiness for the 2012 academic year. A dining facility to support the Hillside Apartments is due to be completed in early to mid 2013.

Other regional campuses

Echuca, Melton, Mildura and Shepparton student bed facilities were completed and opened for operation in February 2012. The Wodonga student bed facility known as McFarlane's Residences was completed and opened for operation in July 2012.
