In2science Program participants
Universities and Funding Partners
In2science is run as a joint venture between leading Victorian universities. A major part of the success of the program over the years is the unique way in which these universities work together to maintain and run In2science.

Participating Universities
- La Trobe University- The Faculty of Science, Technology & Engineering at La Trobe has been involved since the inception of In2science and runs placements from its Melbourne, Bendigo and Wodonga campuses.
- The University of Melbourne- The Faculty of Science at the University of Melbourne has been involved since the inception of In2science and runs placements from its Parkville campus. Students from the Faculty of Engineering also participate in the program.
- Monash University- The Faculty of Science at Monash University has been involved since 2008 and places students from its Clayton and Churchill campus.
- RMIT University- The College of Science, Engineering and Health at RMIT University Joined the program in 2010 and places students from its City and Bundoora campus.
- Deakin University- The Faculty of Science and Technology at Deakin University Joined the program in 2010 and and will be placing students from its Burwood, Waurn Ponds and Warrnambool campuses from 2011.
- University of Ballarat - The School of Science, Information Technology & Engineering at the University of Ballarat joined the program in 2010.
- Swinburne University of Technology - The Faculty of Life and Social Sciences at Swinburne University of Technology joined the program in 2010. Students from the Faculty of Information & Communication Technologies and the Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Sciences also participate in the program.

Many schools have participated in the program since its inception in 2004.
Current funding partner
- Department of Education and Early Childhood Development- DEECD has been a major funding partner of the In2science program since 2008.
Past funding partners
- The George Alexander Foundation, 2008 - 2010 - GAF joined the In2science program in 2008 as funding partner. The Foundation has a special interest in supporting the education of talented young people, particularly those from rural and regional areas
- The William Buckland Foundation, 2004 - 2007 - WBF supported the In2science program from its inception in 2004, allowing the program to get up and running. The William Buckland Foundation provides innovation funding to Victorian charitable organisations. The Foundation seeks to enhance and improve the social fabric of Victoria by investing in new ideas that benefit the marginalised and disadvantaged.
- Nanotechnology Victoria Ltd - The In2nanotech Outreach Program was proudly supported by Nanotechnology Victoria Ltd between 2006-2010.
