Outreach Roadshows
In2science is able to support regional and remote schools (where it is difficult to place Peer Mentors on a weekly basis) through the provision of visiting roadshows.
Travelling roadshows provide an opportunity for schools students to interact with In2science Mentors through hands-on activities based around different themes.
The In2science roadshows are free and visit government schools within different areas of Victoria each year. Topics have included nanotechnology, biotechnology, forces, food science and freaky fluids.
In2science has worked in conjunction with other organisations to provide a range of themed activities. Roadshows have been run in conjunction with Nanotechnology Victoria (nanotechnology roadshow), Quantum Victoria (primary roadshow), GetintoGenes (biotechnology roadshow) and Boeing (In2science roadshow).
