In2science news
In2science 2012: - this semester we have 17 new schools added to our program taking the total to over 130. We are really excited about the placements starting and all the great work teachers and Mentors will do with their classes.
In2science Prizes: - this semester In2science is offering some great prizes for participants in the program. Teacher can win professional development funding, Mentors can win an iPad and school students an iPod Touch. We are looking to showcase examples of best practice in using the program to engage students. Check out the information on our website.
Patron: In2science is please to announce that Dr Alan Finkel has taken up the position of inaugral In2science Patron. As current Chancellor of Monash University and with a passion for all things science, Alan is a wonderful champion for In2science. Alan has been associated with In2science previously as a Board Member in 2008-9.
Roadshows: Three roadshows visited schools in late November and early December. This year the In2nanotech roadshow visited schools in SW Victoria including Portland and Cobden. Our In2biotech roadshow visited schools in the Mildura area. We also had a general science roadshow running in Central Victoria offering both primary and secondary activities.
