La Trobe University qualifications are recognised internationally as providing avenues to highly successful global careers.

La Trobe University International College offers a choice of pathways to Degree studies. You may undertake a Foundation Studies Program which will upgrade your present qualifications to the level required for Bachelor Degrees at La Trobe University. (La Trobe University offers a provisional guarantee of entry - see Grades and Requirements).
Commencement
Students may commence the Foundation Studies Program after completion of Year 11 or equivalent. Foundation Studies is a two semester (8 month) program. Applicants with superior academic qualifications may qualify for one semester's credit.
Alternative pathway
An alternative pathway to a Bachelor Degree is to take a La Trobe Diploma. The Diploma is a four semester course for exit Year 11 (secondary) students or a three semester course for exit Year 12 (post-secondary) students. Diplomas are available in Business Administration and Information Systems. La Trobe University staff will be happy to advise you as to which pathway will best meet your needs.
Time savings
By eliminating non productive time e.g. long vacations, La Trobe Foundation Studies and Diploma programs offer three four-month semesters per year. FOR OVERSEAS STUDENTS THIS MAY MEAN A CONSIDERABLE SAVING OF TIME AND MONEY.
