Public Transport

Public transport is readily available around the International College. Metlink is the best resource, please view the Metlink Beginners Guide to Public Transport.

Useful information from the Metlink Melbourne website:

  • Fares for children Children aged three years and under may travel free on public transport in Victoria, but they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. All children aged 16 years and under are eligible for concession fares on public transport in Victoria. They do not need a concession card to travel on a concession fare. Information about public transport is available in different languages.
  • Public transport is divided into two 'zones', zone 1 (city) and zone 2 (suburban). Please view the map of the zones and train stations
  • You can use the Metlink Melbourne Journey Planner (eg, La Trobe to Northland at 3.05pm) or search a particular bus route (eg 556) or station/stop (eg Macleod Station) right from the home page.
