How do I get my student card?
In the 1st or 2nd week of term, a schedule is put up on the Student Administration and Academic Services (SAAS) window with time and day that your class will be taken over to Student Services on the main campus to have your photo taken for your student card.

How do I get a full time letter?
You need to fill in your details at the Student Administration and Academic Services (SAAS) to request a full time letter. There is no charge for a full time letter. Check back the next day to see if your letter is ready.
However if you need something different from the standard full time letter, you can specify what you need. A charge applies for these custom letters, which must be paid in cash. Please see the Fees for Certificates and Reports for information on cost for different kinds of letters.

How can I contact my teacher or hand in work?
Your teacher has a pigeon hole just outside B01. If you need to speak to your teacher, you can ask at the Student Administration and Academic Services (SAAS) and we will check if your teacher is available.

Parking permits
If you park within the University or International College you must display a permit. You can purchase a ticket (daily) for $5 from ticket machines in the car parks. If you will be studying for longer, you can purchase monthly 6 monthly or 1 yearly passes from Traffic and Parking on the main campus. You can learn more on their website Traffic and Parking
You will be fined for parking without a ticket or permit.

OSHC: When can I talk to an OSHC representative?
An OSHC representative visits the International College every Tuesday from 12pm to 2pm. You can find them in B24 (near B01).

OSHC: What do I do when I have to go to the doctor?
If you see a doctor, pay for the bill and make sure to get a receipt. You can then show the receipt to claim a partial refund from the OSHC representative on Tuesdays.

How do I collect my reports/certificates?
You can collect them from your teacher on Thursdays and Fridays of Week 5
What if I miss this date?
You can pick them up the following term (Week 1) Wednesday.
What if I have lost of misplaced a report or certificate that has already been issued?
You can get another copy from the Student Administration and Academic Services (SAAS) . Please see the Fees for Certificates and Reports for information on cost for replacing these documents.

How do I make an appointment to see the Student Advisor?
At the Student Administration and Academic Services (SAAS) reception there is an appointment sheet, you just need to fill in your name and class teacher to make an appointment. Appointments are half an hour, and can be made between 10 and 2.30 Monday to Friday. You must make an appointment to see a Student Advisor.
What can the Student Advisor help me with?
Student Advisors can help you with any problem you have, ranging from personal issues to change of enrolment.

How do I get a tax file number? (TFN)
You can apply for a TFN online at the Australian Tax Office website.
You will be asked to enter details including your passport or travel document number, a postal address in Australia where your TFN can be sent, your legal name and other names you use or have used and contact details for yourself or your preferred contact person.

How do I apply for Medicare?
You can enrol online at the Medicare website
You must be living in Australia and either:
- hold Australian citizenship
- have been issued with a permanent visa
- hold New Zealand citizenship
- have applied for a permanent visa
