Important information
- Students studying at La Trobe University must be over the age of 17.
- If you change your address while studying in Australia you must inform the International College by filling in the required form. This is an Australian Government (legal) requirement.
- Students on a Student Visa must attend at least 80% of their classes: students failing to do so will be reported to immigration.
- Grounds on which the student's enrolment may be deferred, suspended or cancelled are included in the Refund Policy. La Trobe University International College Refund and Privacy policy (pdf 39kb)
- Accommodation and Airport Transfer service forms.
- Students must notify accommodation@latrobe.edu.au at least 72 hours before arrival of any changes to service requests.
- The Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) may provide La Trobe University International College with any information about the student's visa status from the time of arrival to the time of departure from Australia.
- The information provided by the student to the International College may be made available to Commonwealth and State agencies.
- Any school-aged dependants accompanying the International College student to Australia will be required to enrol in a local government or non-government school and pay full fees. Further information at Victorian Government Schools.
- Students can only transfer between registered course providers before the first 6 months of study of their principal course with a written letter of release.
