Research Professor and former Vice Chancellor, University of Wales in Swansea U.K

Professor Robin Williams has published over 300 papers and books in the field of solid state electronic devices, and much of his research was supported by industry. Prior to his appointment as Vice Chancellor of Swansea University he was head of Physics and Astronomy at Cardiff University , and spent periods at Xerox and IBM in the USA

While at La Trobe's Institute for Advanced Study Professor Williams carried out a review of future possibilities in nanotechnology and electronic devices.
