Professor Krupka is the author of over 60 scientific publications on global variational analysis (higher order variational theory in fibred spaces, Lepage forms, the Cartan forms, variational sequences, the local and global inverse problem of the calculus of variations), differential geometry (jets, contact elements, differential invariants), multilinear algebra (trace decompositions of tensor spaces), mathematical physics (energy-momentum tensors).
