Professor Henry Weiner

Professor of Biochemistry, Purdue University , Lafayette , Indiana USA

Professor Weiner is a protein chemist with particular interest in the enzymology of a detoxifying enzyme called aldehyde dehydrogenase and the import of proteins into mitochondria. His work has been funded by the National Institute of Health for most of the 39 years he has been at Purdue University.

Professor Weiner has published extensively: close to 200 scientific papers and book chapters.
