Professor Eric Jones

Professor of Economics, Graduate Centre of International Management, University of Reading, Emeritus Professor of Economics, La Trobe University and Professorial Fellow of the Melbourne Business School, University of Melbourne.

Professor Jones has authored numerous articles on culture in relation to economic history and economic development, East and West. At present he is writing a book on culture that will advance the understanding of the concept and its historical and modern roles.

While at the Institute for Advanced Study he carried out research and writing of a book on culture for the Princeton University Press Series “The Princeton Economic History of the Western World”
