Professor Martin Johnson

Professor of Reproductive Sciences at the University of Cambridge and Fellow of Christ’s College. Research interests include mammalian fertilization, early development and implantation, and the socio-ethico-legal issues raised by their study in humans. Prof Johnson is co-author of the standard text on mammalian reproduction “Essential Reproduction. He has been a member of the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority, Chairman of the British Society for Developmental Biology, Head of the Department of Anatomy, Cambridge, and is a non-medical Fellow of the Royal College of Obstretricians and Gynaecologists, London.
