Meet our student

Ms Tasneem Chopra

MID La Trobe

Course of study:
Master of International Development 2012

With a working background in federal politics and community development, this felt like a logical step. I think my work in government strongly influenced my belief in the value of NGO's. I saw this course as my pathway to finding my role.

The breadth of units on offer meant you had a fabulous choice of options - from theoretical, hands-on practical, issue based - never expected that.

This course was essential grooming in learning the various dimensions of development work. Before this course my understanding was basic, and my perceptions incorrect. I now feel I have the skills and confidence to enter the dev field more realistically.

The tutors were always accessible and approachable, and even though I was returning to study as a post-grad student after so many years, I found them always accommodating. Library was amazing. Online learning resources – incredible.
