The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences are involved in and promote a number of practical learning programs and internships. You can gain valuable professional experience in the following programs.
Always speak to your program coordinator before undertaking any voluntary work experience or internship to see if it fits with your course requirements.

Media Internship
An internship program is offered to third year Media Studies and Journalism students. Our students have been placed with various media production organisations. See Media studies, Journalism or Global Communications for further information.
The Bachelor of International Relations Work Placement
The Bachelor of International Relations offers work placement for third year students. The placement offers our students the opportunity to apply their analytical skills and knowledge to a practical situation. See International Relations for further information.
External Internship Programs
The Aurora Native Title Internship Program
The Aurora Native Title Internship Program introduces students of Aboriginal Studies, Anthropology, Archaeology, Australian Studies, History, Sociology and Social Sciences as well as graduates and qualified anthropologists.
