The position of Associate Dean (Academic) is responsible for learning and teaching policy and development; subject and course development; promoting quality learning and teaching; development and implementation of contemporary approaches to course delivery; Faculty representative on Academic Committee; Promoting success in learning and teaching awards and grant schemes; Promoting ways by which the Faculty's performance in the Learning and Teaching Fund is enhanced.

The Associate Dean (International) is responsible for developing, implementing and promoting the participation of international students in the Faculty's undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs; Initiating and sustaining links with international universities with which the Faculty wishes to build relationships; promoting the international teaching mission of the Faculty both within the Faculty and the University; Faculty representative on university committees dealing with international matters.
