Brief profile

Mary Rosengren’s practice includes exhibitions, residencies and commissions; it has taken her to extreme environments, from saltbush of Lake Mungo, NSW to sites in the Cairngorm Mountains of Scotland, the Antarctic Peninsular and industrial sites Melbourne and Sydney. In 2005 Mary re-established her practice Australia after 15 years in the UK, where she had exhibited and worked with artist networks in Scotland. In addition to exhibiting in the United Kingdom and Japan, Mary has continued to exhibit in Australia. Her work is represented in national and private collections in Australia, USA and UK. Educated in Australia she holds a doctoral a degree from the University of Wollongong, NSW.
