Brief Profile

Lidia Tanaka joined the Japanese Program at La Trobe in 1992. Her research interests are in the field of sociolinguistics: multilingualism and code-switching, comparative discourse patterns (Spanish, Japanese and English), discourse analysis. She has a PhD in Japanese interview genre and gender differences.
