Brief profile

Kevin Brianton has more than 30 years’ experience in market research, journalism and public relations. He worked as both a consultant and as a manager in government and private industry. The majority of his career has focused on government and political issues. He has won national and state PRIA awards in community communications, issues and crisis management, events management, internal communications and comprehensive communications. Kevin was made a Fellow of the Public Relations Institute of Australia in July 2012.

  • Kevin was invited in January 2013 to speak at the visiting professors program at Srinakharinwirot University in Bangkok where he delivered a course on digital media in society.
  • He has spoken to the Social Media in the Public Sector conference in Sydney in March  2013 on social media and community consultation.
