Brief profile

Juliane’s areas of research are centred around women’s writing, in particular the feminine middlebrow and literary Modernism. She is interested in concepts of femininity and authorship and has published on Elizabeth von Arnim and other women writers. She also has an ongoing interest in the literary relationships between Germany and England and has published on W.G. Sebald.
