Brief profile
Hugh Davies is co-ordinator of the Bachelor of Creative Arts and lectures in Networked Culture, Remix and Media Arts within the Media: Screen + Sound program.
Hugh is also a co-director of LaTrobe's Centre for Creative Arts. With a background in film, television and online production and eduction in sculpture and multimedia design, Hugh explores the tension between digital and physical realms.
Hugh has extensive history in arts management and leadership with seven years service to the board of the Australian Network for Art and Technology and he was a founding board director of Seventh Gallery in Melbourne.
He is now board chair of the Freeplay Festival and organisation.
