Brief Profile

Harry was resident pianist for two ABCTV series before attending the National film school. Amongst his 50 film and television credits can be found the satirical puppet series Rubbery Figures, some TV soap (Neighbours, Starting Out), various TV documentaries including Deadly Harvest (Network Ten), and Nagasaki Journey (ABC). He co-wrote Eight Ball (ABC telemovie) with Ray Argall and has directed numerous sponsored documentaries through Film Victoria and Film Australia. Harry has also worked as a Script Editor through the Australian Film Commission, and has been an Assessor for the AFC's Creative Development Fund. He has been active in film culture and industrial sectors - including Melbourne Film Festival (including Jury member), and the Australian Writers Guild. Harry was founding managing editor of Screening the Past and is a member of the editorial board of Upstart. http://www.upstart.net.au
