School of Social Sciences
The School offers a unique combination of disciplines and interdisciplinary areas of study. It teaches majors in Anthropology, Asian Studies, Aboriginal Studies, Development Studies, Politics, Legal Studies, Australian Studies, Sociology, Japanese, Indonesian and Chinese. This makes the School pre-eminent in the Social Sciences in Victoria and Australia. It has major strengths in Asian and International Studies and Australian Studies.
