Undergraduate coursesBachelor of Arts degreeDisciplines and areas of studyThe Faculty offers a number of disciplines and areas of study that can be undertaken as part of the Bachelor of Arts degree. A discipline is a generic term for a related body of knowledge, e.g. philosophy, English, history, while an area of study is a unit made up from different disciplines which are grouped together through a common theme, e.g. Australian Studies is made up of the following disciplines; archaeology, English, history, politics and sociology. Students can also take a limited number of units from disciplines outside the Faculty. Check details with the Faculty Office at the campus you wish to study at. Disciplines/areas of study offerings vary from campus to campus.
