Course of study:
Bachelor of Education (Secondary) 2014

My name is Stacey Pascoe. I am a student ambassador at La Trobe University. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Education (Secondary). At the end of my degree I plan on being a secondary school teacher.

I enjoy being a student ambassador because of the opportunity that it gives me to share my experiences and knowledge of the university with prospective students. I love meeting new people and helping people and the university in any way I can - the ambassador program enables me to do this.

The best advice that I can give to future students is don’t just look at the course title! Check out the subjects, and if you can, try to talk to current students and lecturers about their experiences. Other students will be able to share what they thought of the course, which will hopefully help with your decision.

La Trobe University is great because of the community atmosphere at La Trobe tops all others! It has an environment that supports and encourages learning. Lecturers and tutors are always willing to guide and assist with questions and they are knowledgeable about their subjects. Most importantly the university values the students and wants them to succeed. That is what makes the La Trobe difference.
