The campus is as great as the people. It’s fantastic how welcoming the students are.

Current student; Student ambassador

Course of study:
Bachelor of Health Sciences 2014
Bachelor of International Development 2014
My name is Alisha and I am a student ambassador at La Trobe University. My career plan is to travel and work for NGO’s. Currently I am studying a Bachelor of Health Sciences/International Development.
I love being a student ambassador because it is a chance to meet new students. Also being a student ambassador means representing the university – I love giving back in a positive way.
My advice to future students is to go to as many Open Days as possible to get a feel of the universities. Go with your friends/family and really take it all in.
Future students should attend Open Day’s because it is a chance to throw as many questions to knowledgeable and experienced students and staff. To put aside any fears you may have about university.
In my opinion La Trobe University is great because it is by far the friendliest university. The campus is as great as the people. It’s fantastic how welcoming the students are. Around lunch time you’ll see people picnicking around the green areas, while ducks waddle about. Our campus is just so scenic and beautiful.
