The open air, friendly and social environment which La Trobe provides is perfect in the way it facilitates learning.
Mr Nathan Dorman
Current student; Student ambassador

Course of study:
Bachelor of Psychological Science 2013
My name is Nathan Dorman and I am a student ambassador at La Trobe University I’m currently undertaking a Bachelor of Psychological Science, which allows me to observe and understand people in an open and active environment. Working as a student ambassador is great as it gives me a chance to connect with students on a completely different level.
Being a student ambassador as it gives me a chance to talk to people about their futures, helping them explore how La Trobe can help them reach their goals.
If I were to give any advice to future students it would be - don’t stress if you’re not sure of what you want to do! As long as you have a rough idea of what you’re interested in you’ve got all the time in the world to work it out and people will always be there to help.
The open air, friendly and social environment which La Trobe provides is perfect in the way it facilitates learning. The connections you will make with other students at university (La Trobe) are ones that in many cases last well past our university days.
Coming along to an Open Day and hearing firsthand from students who spend their time at La Trobe will give you more insight than any pamphlet ever possibly could!
