Course of study:
Bachelor of Archaeology 2013

My name is Rosie Robertson and I’m a student ambassador at La Trobe University. I am studying a Bachelor of Archaeology and have found that this course has been nothing but a great experience to participate in.

The staff are so experienced, dedicated and approachable. I also enjoy the hands on practical approach which some of the subjects offer. My course has the anticipated end in 2013, although I plan on commencing an honours year directly after this.

I love being a student ambassador as I enjoy relaying my experiences to potential and current students which may help them to decide what’s best for them career wise. My advice for future students is talk to as many staff as possible. Once your degree ends, they will be the ones to help you achieve your ultimate goal. Talk to the course coordinators before you enrol so that you know the course back to front.

La Trobe University is great because it is a diverse and exciting university. The people are fantastic and always willing to help. Many extra-curricular activities are available which cater to absolutely everyone.
