My name is Cassie Wilcox. I study Speech Pathology and am looking forward to interacting with people of many backgrounds throughout my career.

I love being an ambassador because it is an opportunity for me to give others the kind of help and support I was given when choosing what to study. My advice to future students is to do what you love. I love speaking and interacting with people and speech pathology allows me to learn about these things in detail. Because I love it, I find it all fascinating.

La Trobe University is great because the lecturers are extremely passionate, knowledgeable and very approachable. The facilities are great, as is the amazing campus.

There are lots of social activities to get involved in also. Future students should attend Open Day’s because it’s a great opportunity to see the facilities La Trobe has and ask questions specific to what you want to do.
