European Studies

Interested in today’s Europe?

  • open to exploring Europe across the disciplines?
  • hoping for a career with a European focus?
  • wanting to travel in an informed way?
  • looking to extend your awareness of Europe’s cultures?
  • longing to communicate in another language?

European Studies offers the chance to study in a university, now part of a European Union-funded Centre, at the forefront of studies in Australia on contemporary Europe. Study can be chosen in European cultures, politics, history, trade and tourism and link with the study of one or more European languages (other than English). Offering a comprehensive multi-disciplinary view of contemporary European societies and cultures, European studies prepares Australians for Europe–related business and career possibilities in Europe and in Australia.
