Meet our student
Ms Emily Self
Course of study:
Bachelor of Health Sciences
I am Emily Self and I am a student ambassador at La Trobe University. I am studying Health Science (Rehabilitation Counselling Major). I intend to work as a Rehabilitation Counsellor in the Health Sector.
I am looking forward to putting myself out there and testing myself. Meeting new people is part of why I love studying at La Trobe.
I enjoy being a student ambassador because I believe that La Trobe accommodates for everyone so I want to share my experiences with other people.
My advice to future students is to listen to what current students have experienced, it is a fantastic way to find out more about the uni. Hearing about the La Trobe community and the fantastic social support is a major aspect to consider.
The main reason I believe La Trobe to be a great uni is the happy, energetic atmosphere. It’s all about meeting new people and being yourself. The uni supports everyone, allowing each person to reach their potential and discover what area best suits them.
Future students should attend Open Day’s because it gives you the chance to experience life at La Trobe for a day. The energy and excitement alongside the friendly and supportive environment provides people with the information they need.
