Learning support
The Academic Language and Learning Unit (ALLU) works closely with students and teaching staff on all campuses to ensure that Health Science students - including those from non-English-speaking backgrounds - develop high-level academic speaking, writing, reading, and numeracy skills required for successful learning in their courses. To achieve those ends, the ALL Unit staff: collaborate on course and subject design; advise on teaching and learning strategies; teach/co-teach special undergraduate and postgraduate subjects, tutorials and workshops; and provide professional development for staff.
