Women's health
This research area focuses on broader women’s health issues.
Descriptive and intervention research on women’s health and reproduction spanning:
- Sexual and reproductive health: contraception, abortion, reducing unwanted pregnancy;
- Maternal physical and mental health issues in the years following childbirth; and
- Health effects for women of intimate partner violence.
Potential PhD topics
The Department will consider any research topic that interests potential PhD students; however, students will benefit from researching in areas that align with the Faculty’s research strengths. Please find a relevant supervisor to discuss your PhD topic.
