Our research seeks solutions to manage aggression, support staff relations in the workplace and improve the psychological aspects of nursing care.

Including the prevention of pressure injuries, management of surgical incision, protection of traumatic injuries from infection, assessing the hydration & nutritional status of the skin, playing an active role in healing wounds & assisting patients to cope with body image alterations associated with skin changes.
 

Potential PhD topics

The Department will consider any research topic that interests potential PhD students; however, students will benefit from researching in areas that align with the Faculty’s research strengths.  Please find a relevant supervisor to discuss your PhD topic.
