Clinical vision sciences

Our research expertise includes eye movements, strabismus, vision rehabilitation and preventative eye health care and delivery.

The research focus of the Department of Clinical Vision Science is in abnormality of eye movements and strabismus, with its consequent sensory sequelae, and eye disease. We investigate their clinical diagnosis, orthoptic and medical intervention, and functional / quality of life and psychosocial consequences.

With the Department’s research primarily being clinically based, our research team has become increasingly interested in models of service delivery and how to best improve efficiency and patient care in the eye health care.
