We offer three higher degree programs:

Masters by research

This degree is usually completed in one to two years of full-time study. You will write a 50,000 word thesis, which should demonstrate your research skills and contribute to knowledge in your area.

Professional doctorates

This degree includes coursework and research and develops your professional practice skills to a high level. It usually involves one year of coursework and two years of research. Your thesis should make a substantial and original contribution to your profession and not exceed 75,000 words.

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

This degree is usually completed in three to four years of full-time study. Your thesis must make a substantial and original contribution to knowledge in your area and not exceed 100,000 words.
