Podiatry clinic

Podiatry is the prevention, diagnosis and management of foot and ankle disorders. Our clinic is a teaching, learning and research facility where students get clinical experience in diagnosis and client management. The clinic includes 17 consulting rooms, two paediatric consulting rooms, an operating theatre, an orthoses laboratory, a plaster casting room and a 40-seat lecture room. Students are supervised by a registered podiatrist. A referral is not required.

Why see a podiatrist?

Podiatrists treat and manage a range of foot problems. People who see a podiatrist include children with unusual walking patterns, atheletes with foot problems from structural dysfunction or overuse, those with disorders related to their occupation and the elderly who are suffering from conditions associated with a lifetime of wearing ill-fitting or unsuitable footwear
