Our graduates are prepared with the knowledge, skills and practical experience for a career as a health professional. You may be eligible to register for a number of boards and associations within Australia and overseas.
Nursing and Midwifery
Graduates are eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (Division 1) and the Australian College of Midwives. You may register with nurse registration authorities throughout Australia and in several overseas countries.
Occupational Therapy
Graduates can apply for membership of the Australian Association of Occupational Therapists. Our course is recognised by the World Federation of Occupational Therapists. You may register in the United Kingdom, North America, Sweden and other countries subject to national registration requirements.
Oral Health
Our course is accredited by the Australian Dental Council.
Physiotherapy
Graduates are eligible for registration with state Physiotherapist Registration Boards. Registration is essential for practice as a physiotherapist in Australia.
Podiatry
Graduates are eligible for registration in all Australian states and New Zealand. International registration criteria vary from country to country.
Prosthetics and Orthotics
Graduates are qualified to practise in Australia and a number of overseas countries. You are eligible for membership of the Australian Orthotic Prosthetic Association.
Speech Pathology
Graduates are eligible for membership with Speech Pathology Australia. Our degree is also recognised in several overseas countries.
Social Work and Social Policy
We are seeking provisional accreditation from the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
Health Information Management
Graduates are eligible for membership of the Health Information Management Association of Australia.
Dietetics
We are submitting the Dietetics degree to the Dietetics Association of Australia (DAA) for accreditation. You will then be eligible for full membership of the DAA and the Accredited Practising Dietician program.
As part of most International Registrations, the Faculty of Health Sciences is required to complete and certify part of the application. For more information please view the International registration procedure.
