- Associate Professor Amanda Kenny is Director of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Bendigo and Associate Professor in Rural and Regional Nursing
Biography
- Amanda’s clinical background is as a nurse and midwife and she holds a PhD in public health policy. She is widely published internationally and has been a key speaker at a number of national and international conferences. Amanda is an active researcher and her current research focuses on rural health service delivery. She has conducted extensive research for Commonwealth and State Government on rural health issues, with an emphasis on rural workforce. She works closely with rural health services in developing sustainable models to meet the needs of rural communities.
