Faculty of Health Sciences - Bendigo
The Faculty of Health Sciences at Bendigo is part of the new La Trobe Rural Health School which also includes, Mildura, Shepparton and Wodonga.
This exciting initiative builds on the well developed strengths of the Faculty of Health Sciences in Northern Victoria. When fully operational, over 700 additional students will be educated in a wide variety of health professional programs.
The Commonwealth of Australia have provided over 60 million dollars of funding to establish the La Trobe Rural Health School (LRHS). The funding is recognition of La Trobe University’s leading position in health science education and research.
Students studying health science at the regional campuses will experience a radical and innovative model of education based on an enquiry or problem based curriculum.
