Brief Profile

Simone coordinates the Paediatric Stuttering Clinic at La Trobe Communication Clinic, is Subject Coordinator of HS5AIB and is a lecturer in the Clinical Education Team. Simone has held a number of roles within the School but has a special interest in stuttering and student education. She has extensive clinical experience in treating stuttering and training students and speech pathologists in the Lidcombe Program. She recently completed her PhD studies with the Australian Stuttering Research Centre at the University of Sydney. Her research investigated the efficacy and efficiency of group delivery of The Lidcombe Program of early stuttering intervention.
